• How do I create an account?

  Download Joiyn from the App Store or Google Play, open the app, and tap "Sign Up". Enter your email address, create a password, and verify your email to get started.

• How do I find events near me?

  After setting up your profile and selecting your interests, Joiyn will show you events happening in your city. You can filter by activity type, date, or how far you're willing to travel.

• How do I join an event?

  Tap on any event to see details, then tap "Join". The event organiser will receive your request and can approve or decline it. You'll be notified of their decision.

• How do I create my own event?

  Tap the "+" button on the home screen. Fill in the activity type, location, date and time, and participant limits. Once published, other users can discover and request to join your event.

• Can I cancel or leave an event?

  Yes. Open the event from your "My Events" tab and tap "Leave Event". If you created the event, you can cancel it entirely and all participants will be notified automatically.

• How do notifications work?

  Joiyn sends push notifications for event invites, confirmations, cancellations, and participant updates. You can manage notification permissions in your device settings at any time.

• How do I delete my account?

  Go to your profile, open Settings, and select "Delete Account". This will permanently remove your account and all associated data. This action cannot be undone.

• How do I report a user or event?

  On any user profile or event page, tap the three-dot menu (⋯) and select "Report". Describe the issue and we'll take a look. You can also email us directly.

• Is Joiyn free to use?

  Yes, Joiyn is free. Event discovery, joining events, and in-app chat are all included.
