Delete from within the app

The quickest way to delete your account is directly from the Joiyn app:

1. Open the Joiyn app on your device.
2. Go to your Profile tab.
3. Tap Settings.
4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
5. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Your account will be deleted immediately. You will be signed out automatically.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account, we permanently remove:

• Your profile - name, photo, interests, and location preferences
• Your account credentials (email and authentication data)
• Events you created
• Your participation history and attendance records
• Chat messages you sent
• Photos you uploaded
• Feedback and ratings you submitted
• Your push notification token

What may be retained

Some data may be kept for a limited period after deletion:

• Aggregated, anonymised analytics - data that cannot identify you personally.
• Legal or safety records - if required by law or needed to resolve an open dispute or report.

Any retained data is anonymised and not linked back to your identity.

Can't access the app?

If you no longer have access to the app or your account, you can request deletion by email. Send a message to shirocoding@gmail.com from the email address associated with your Joiyn account, with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".

We will process your request within 30 days and confirm by email once complete.
